Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 4, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Avklare collects, how we use it, and your choices. We've tried to keep it plain and short — this is a small, independent product, not a data-hungry conglomerate.

1. What We Collect

Account information: email address, display name, password (stored as a secure hash — we never see or store your actual password).

Task data: the tasks, categories, stages, due dates, and notes you create in your workspace.

Usage data: basic technical logs (IP address, timestamps, error logs) used for debugging, security, and rate-limiting abuse.

Invitation data: if you invite someone to your workspace or invite a friend to try Avklare, we store their email address and the invitation status.

We do not collect payment information directly — if/when paid plans launch, billing will be handled by a dedicated payment processor (e.g., Stripe), and we won't store your card details ourselves.

3. What We Don't Do

4. Third-Party Services We Use

6. Your Choices

7. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data (password hashing, encrypted connections, access controls). No system is perfectly secure, and — especially during beta — we can't guarantee against all possible incidents. See our Terms of Service for more on this.

8. Children's Privacy

Avklare is not directed at children under 18. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy, as well as our Terms of Service, as the Service evolves. We'll update the "Last updated" date above and notify as best reasonably possible. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
